In February of 2020, ANKE’s new member, the 256-slice CT scanner ANATOM S800, won the IF Design Award in Germany. Until now, ANATOM S800 has included the most advanced technology of the current ANKE R&D team.

The IF Design Award，which is short for "iF", was founded in 1953. This award is held regularly by the iF Industrie Forum Design, the oldest industrial design agency in Germany. The IF International Design Forum in Germany selects the iF Design Award every year. It is known worldwide for its "independent, rigorous, and reliable" award concept. It aims to raise public awareness of design. Its most important gold award is known as "the product design industry. "Oscar Award". Mercedes-Benz, BMW, IBM, LG, Samsung, Sony, Asus, and other international giants gathered at iF and displayed the latest design products.

Moreover, ANATOM S800 CT scanner has the characteristics of simple operation, convenient maintenance/repair, high-definition image, and comprehensive functions. It can be used for whole body scanning and cardiac coronary imaging, equipped with the latest image processing system, which greatly improves the image quality and effectively reduces the radiation dose of the patient.

Multifunctional Workstation

ANATOM S800 is a full-body spectral* CT system that comes with a workstation offering multiple applications. To compare with the traditional CT scanner system, spectral CT makes use of the energy dependence of X-ray attenuation to either increase the contrast-to-noise ratio or to provide quantitative image data and reduce image artefacts by so-called material decomposition. It allows you to conduct high-level applications that deliver you more confidence in diagnoses. Such as, basically, contrast-enhanced viewing, direct subtraction of bone, moreover, advanced differentiation between hard plaques and contrast agent, characterization of kidney stones, gout application, three-material decomposition: quantification of iodine–iodine image, calculation of a virtual non-contrast image, Iodine quantification,etc.. Besides, a wide-detector coverage makes the above-mentioned applications much more meaningful.
